Tenerife Nightlife – dancing till dawn
While most people come to Tenerife to enjoy the warm sun and golden beaches, it can be said that Tenerife also has rather a lot to offer once the sun goes down.
For those who want to get the most out of their holiday then perhaps a little bit of both might be in order, so sit back and let us take you on a trip around the best nightspots in Tenerife.
Let us first say that it cannot be said that the partygoer lacks choice – certainly not is he or she is staying near the 24/7 town of Playa de las Americas – so bearing that in mind we’ve decided to break the choices for you into 3 main geographical areas – once there you can make your own mind up as to what best suits.
The thriving south of the island offers literally hundreds of restaurants, bars and clubs with all tastes and most price ranges catered for.
Veronicas – Ask any taxi driver or most visitors to point you in the direction of Veronicas and you’ll know that you are heading for party central. A huge array of bars and clubs are there to greet the visitor. The party here always continues till dawn so have yourself prepared for a late and crazy night.
Starco Centre – Beside Veronicas this area offers yet another range of bars and clubs; all of which are absolutely free to enter and where being boring is frowned upon. As a rule most bars are open till 4am and most clubs till 6. The hub of the Starco Centre is the famous Tramps Nightclub, host to regular all night events and home to some top name DJ’s.
The Patch – the patch offers a greater variety of entertainment than Veronicas and the Starco Centre with a more balanced mix of pubs, bars, clubs, and restaurants. The Patch still offers the party goer a range of bars and shops that stay open till 3am. Lots of child friendly place to enjoy a meal and some entertainment with numerous live acts and the fabulous Dubliner pub
